I didn't get as much done editing-wise as I would have liked, or writing-wise, frankly, but it wasn't a total bust. I'm making headway. Goals for next week are the same. Hooray.

But have an excerpt.
“Mm… yeah. You been hunched over your desk?”
“I have,” he admitted.
“Well, then. I think I’d have to get you on your back… or get myself down on my knees.”
“You know, that doesn’t even make any sense.”
“I’m offering you a blowjob and that makes no sense to you?”
“You’re in Chicago,” Michael pointed out, smiling, “so I’m not quite sure how you’re going to follow through on this offer.”
“Damn you lawyers and your tricks of logic and reason.”
He sighed; Michael could hear him let out the breath over the phone. He wished he could feel it, feel Ryan breathing against his ear. Or better, murmuring against it. Ryan’s voice—well, Ryan’s voice was what had made him famous. He could make anything sound like sex. And to hear that voice while feeling Ryan’s hands on his body, his lips, the sensation of bare skin against skin, and friction…
Well. He could get part of it, anyway.
“Talk me through it?” he asked.
